The Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault (CAASA) provides the City of Fonda and the surrounding area support services to those who may become victims of violence. The Fonda Police Department relies on them to also provide community education on how we can be the solution to stop violence. Our closest office is located in Storm Lake and they are often looking for volunteers to help provide support to our community.

CAASA provides crisis services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Ida, Palo Alto and Sac counties in Northwest Iowa.


The mission of the Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault (CAASA) is to eliminate personal, institutional and societal violence against individuals by empowering victim/survivors and providing supportive programs and services


CAASA is a private non-profit agency providing services for victims of domestic and sexual violence in Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Ida, Palo Alto, and Sac counties. These services include a 24 hour crisis line, crisis counseling and advocacy for adults and children, support groups for adults and children, shelter, medical and legal advocacy, school outreach and violence prevention programs, community education and information programs, and professional education.
